Could you be a bit more specific?
- How do you choose what the piece looks like (image and animation)
- What do you use to make the image all colorful
and
- I guess, in general, how long does it take for you to make one of these animations?
I've submitted 5 pieces in 5 12 hour days, so about 1 a day. I think I started and trashed about 4 pieces in that same time frame.

Actually, the image I began with looked mostly brown and grey, but when I boosted the Saturation, Ifound out the "brown" was a very greyed-out yellow. To boost the colors , I added a strip of half-tone dots around the edges of the shapes.
"How do you choose what the piece looks like?"
I don't choose what the piece will look like.
I just get rid of stuff I don't like and keep the stuff I do.
